Hey kids, long time no see!

So, it seems to me that I am only capable of posting once a month now. How sad. I’m back in the office for today, but I have no idea how long THAT’S going to last. I do have a new e-mail. It’s stoneburnerjessica@hotmail.com. Isn’t that original???

Well, Christmas was excellent, and so was New Years. I spent lots of time with family and friends, and all of my time enjoying my first set of married holidays. I realized that it would be a challenge with TWO families to accommodate, but I didn’t realize just HOW challenging. Lots of sacrifice, lots of compromise. It’s worth it though.

Skye and I left for Las Vegas (a company trip. One of the perks of my job) at 9:15 on New Years Day. You never saw a sorrier group of people in your life. You’d assume that, with the knowledge that you had to be AT Kennedy airport at 7:30, these people would have curtailed their partying. You’d be wrong. Half of them showed up still drunk. It was NOT pretty.

We stayed in the Bellagio, which was BREATHTAKING, and had an excellent time. I’d LOVE to go back. We saw a topless stage show that was very funny, rode a roller coaster ON the strip, and had an all around fabulous time. Skye and I only used $100 each to bet with… so all in all we only lost, well, $200. I’ve never seen someone more cursed than Skye. It got so bad that other people I work with didn’t want him to stand NEXT TO THEM. It was that bad. The second his chips hit a table, the roller would crap out, the dealer would throw a high card, an earthquake would hit. It was frightening.

Anyway, now I’m back, and trying to play catch-up, get back into the swing of things. Just a few important things:

1) Wryguy and sparks, I’m SOOOOOO happy for you guys!!! Way to go!! Wow, you didn’t waste any time!!
2) Disney and OB2… DON’T GO!!! Uh… I mean, have a great tip. Yes… that’s what I meant. You’ll be fine, and we’ll come visit! (I feel your shudder of dread from here)
3) And finally, Raechel, I’m so glad I finally got you meet you! I hope we can all get together again soon!

O.k., I’m caught up, you’ve had your fix! Enough, no blog for you, one week, you don’t come back! NEXT!!
